Self-care Rituals to balance your mind

Most people with skin problems will tell you that their symptoms get worse during times of stress. This is principally due to the face that energy required to deal with normal  detoxification is re-channelled to deal with stress. Negative mental emotions such as hate, fear, self-pity and resentment cause the production of toxins, which adversley affect digestion and your hormonal balace.

Balancing mental energy is an important part of any detox programme and we recommend two daily riutals to help achieve this:

Bath ritual

Bath Ritual

A powerful too performed at night – turn the lights off, light some candles while bathing and listen to soothing music.

Run a warm bath infused with Jasmin Bath Oil, light a Jasmine Candle (jasmine is high in the stress busting active indole which is known to reduce stress) and relax in the bath with your favourite face mask. Imagine all your stress and strains leaving your body and seeping into the water.



Fill the bath with comfortably warm water and apply Honey & Jasmine Mask.

Add Jasmine Bath Oil to the water – two capfulls will do.

Light a Jasmine Candle and soak in the bath for 20 minutes (or as long as you need to feel the stress of the day melt away).
